Author and Former Chief of Staff to President George H.W. Bush Jean Becker has teamed up with local bookstore Neighborhood Reads to do a wine tasting and book event showcasing Becker’s biographical writings on her time serving under President Bush. Her biography, titled “The Man I Knew” recounts her time serving for President Bush during his presidency and beyond. Working together for nearly 25 years, Becker and Bush formed a close relationship, making her writing an inside look at the man behind the household name. Tickets for this event are available on our website, oakandfront.com. There will be various beverages and menu items available to attendees.
